2025 February Release Notes

This release notes article documents the new features, fixes, validations and new attributes added to Erudus for the month

New Features

A new image type has been introduced to the Image Hub. The image type is called “Non Marketing Specification Image” and is to be used for images that are uploaded to specifications that aren’t used for marketing, but offer a visual representation of the product outside of the Erudus Image Standards Guidance for pack and case shot imagery. The guidance has been updated to include this new image type

A new CSV export format has been made available to Wholesaler users that is compatible with Procure Wizard and allows them to upload data to that system

Label owners can now review ESG survey submissions from the Manufacturers they add to their Manufacturer list via the Label Dashboard. The Knowledge Base article Manufacturer Management for Label Owners has been published to illustrate this functionality

There was an issue that caused the number of pending users on any account to display as 10 even if the number of pending users was above 10. This has been resolved and now the number of pending users on accounts will display correctly

There was an issue that caused exported recipe PDFs to display any costing information for ingredients regardless of whether users opted not to display it on the export. This has been resolved and now the option to display costings on recipe PDFs works correctly

Some users were receiving 500 errors when performing searches against a Wholesaler’s product catalogue. This was related to the permissions of certain users and has been resolved, so no users will receive 500 errors when searching a Wholesaler’s product catalogue

There is now a validation in place to ensure that the unit of measurement selected for the inner pack gross and net weight are the same for consistent presentation of information

A tolerance of 0.5g has been applied to the validations for the sum of carbohydrate parts to equal total carbohydrates and the sum of fat parts to equal total fat to allow for rounding of decimal values when Manufacturers are calculating nutritional values

New attributes “No Outer Case Present?” and “No Inner Component Present?” Have been added to the outer case and inner component sections of the product editor. By declaring the product has no case or component, the rest of the attributes related to the layer’s configuration, weight and dimensions will become non mandatory and you will no longer be able to interact with those attributes to enter data. An example of products that do not have an outer case or inner component are single packed items and bulk ingredients
