2025 January Release Notes
This release notes article documents the new features, fixes, validations and new attributes added to Erudus for the month
Fixes
All Users
- Some typo fixes and minor tweaks have been made to erudus.com for clarity and readability
- When uploading images to Image Hub, a notice has been added advising users that images must meet the Erudus Image Standards Guidance or the image may not be approved for publication
Manufacturer Users
- If a product has the “Exempt from Nutrition Labelling” attribute set to “Yes”, front of pack nutritional traffic light labelling will not display on a spec regardless of the presence of nutritional data and will overwrite any option for the “Display Traffic Light Labelling” attribute
- Manufacturers were occasionally receiving an unresolvable error when trying to mark a product as reviewed from their published product list. This has been resolved and Manufacturers can now mark products as reviewed without receiving an error that can’t be resolved
- There was an issue in the product editor where any declaration of a cereal being present in a product at <20ppm would overwrite the parent allergen “Cereals Containing Gluten” regardless of the concentration of any other cereals present at concentrations greater than 20ppm. This has been resolved and the parent allergen “Cereals Containing Gluten” is calculated correctly based on the sub derivatives present
Wholesaler Users
- There was an issue that would allow Wholesaler Admins to add users beyond the user quota set for the account based on the Wholesaler subscription. This has been fixed and now Wholesalers can no longer add users above the quota
- There was an issue affecting Wholesaler accounts auto stepping their product codes to product versions based on the type of change made. Products changed using the API weren’t having the code step applied but this has now been resolved
- When downloading a CSV of the Manufacturer accreditation matrix from the Manufacturer management area of the Wholesaler Dashboard some users were receiving an error message. This has been fixed and users will not receive errors when downloading CSVs from the Manufacturer management area of the Wholesaler Dashboard
- Some Wholesaler users were receiving an error when trying to download their customer purchase history records from the “Customer Purchases” area of the Wholesaler Dashboard. This has been resolved and Wholesalers will no longer receive errors when downloading a customer purchase history record
- There was an issue preventing the download of large customer purchase history records. This has been resolved and now customer purchase history files can be downloaded without issue
Validations
- There is now a validation in place to ensure that the unit of measurement selected for the inner pack gross and net weight are the same for consistent presentation of information
- A tolerance of 0.5g has been applied to the validations for the sum of carbohydrate parts to equal total carbohydrates and the sum of fat parts to equal total fat to allow for rounding of decimal values when Manufacturers are calculating nutritional values
