2025 July Release Notes
This release notes article documents the new features, fixes, validations and new attributes added to Erudus for the month
New Features
Manufacturer Users
- Technical Documentation uploaded to specifications has always been private and only available to the Manufacturer that uploaded it. This area of Technical Documentation has been renamed “Private Documentation” in the product editor and there is a new document upload in the editor called “Public Documentation” where Manufacturers can upload documents that will be publicly available to Wholesalers and Caterers viewing the specs
Wholesaler Users
- Wholesalers can now download a list of users associated with their account in CSV format with the users: Name, email address, customer reference, user role and last login date
Fixes
All Users
- The “Egg Source” attribute has been expanded following user feedback. To align more closely with the guidance for classification and stamping of eggs the options for the attribute are now as follows:
- 0 - Organic
- 1 - Free Range
- 2 - Barn
- 3 - Eggs from Caged Hens
- 3 - Eggs from Caged Hens (Enriched Cages)
Manufacturer Users
- There was an issue causing a timeout error when Manufacturers were trying to view their product data error lists in instances where the lists had large numbers of resolved entries. This has been resolved and Manufacturers will no longer get timeouts when trying to view their reported product data errors
Validations
- A validation has been added so that if a specification being created is a multipack specification with multiple inner components, the attribute “No Inner Component Present” can not be selected
- A validation has been added so that a product specification using the Fish & Seafood specification type can’t be published without at least one of the allergen declarations for crustacea, fish or molluscs set to “Yes”
- A validation has been added to so that the net drained weight attribute of an inner component of a product can’t be greater than the inner component weight attribute
