Scheduled Product Changes
This guide will explain scheduled product changes in Erudus, how to publish a scheduled change, and how to remove a scheduled change.
What is a Scheduled Product Change?
A scheduled product change allows you to specify a date when a product is published and visible to the Erudus datapool. Instead of selecting Publish Now, you select a future change-on date for the product or changes to become visible to Erudus Wholesalers and Caterers.
How to set a change on date (Future Scheduled Change) | Step 1
At this stage, you may have completed inputting information into your product in Erudus, or you've made changes to an already existing published product. Once you select Publish, you'll be presented with the Publish Changes section of the product editor.
In this section, you can specify a date for the product or product changes to go live in Erudus. Some of the key benefits of using this feature are:
Proactive Compliance: Ensure that your Erudus digital data matches the physical product landing on shelves the moment it arrives.
Reduced Administrative Burden: No more setting calendar reminders to log in at 9:00 AM on a Monday to update a product.
Version Control: Erudus keeps a record of the "Current" live version and the "Scheduled" upcoming version simultaneously.

How to set a change on date (Future Scheduled Change) | Step 2
Once a product has a scheduled change, you'll see this appear in your Manufacturer Dashboard slightly differently from other products. You'll also see an indicator of this when viewing the product specification itself.
When viewing the product specifciation a banner is presented across the top of the product:

When viewing the product in your product catalog, you'll see a slight change in the colour of the published status and additional information about when the product will be live in Erudus:

How to remove a Future Scheduled Change | Step 1
If you have published a product with a future scheduled change but now wish for the product to be published immediately, you can do so very easily. When viewing your products in Erudus, you can select the 3-dot drop located on the right-hand side of the product and select "Cancel Scheduled Change."

How to remove a Future Scheduled Change | Step 2
Once the scheduled change has been cancelled, you'll be presented with the product editor once more. Simply proceed to publish the product once again and ensure the "Change On Date" is blank. Then select Publish Now, and the product will be published instantly and visible to the wider datapool.
