How to Unarchive a product
This guide will show you how to unarchive products within your Erudus Manufacturing account.
Please note: Only admin users can unarchive a product once a product has been archived.
What is an unarchived product?
In Erudus, unarchiving a product is the action of taking a product from a hidden (Archived) state and making it visible and available again to the entire Erudus datapool.
Essentially, it's the reverse of archiving. When a product is unarchived, it is restored to the active product list, allowing it to be searched and accessed by Erudus users. This process is most often used when a manufacturer is bringing back a seasonal product or re-launching a discontinued one, ensuring that all parties in the food supply chain have access to the most current and accurate data for that product.
Why would I unarchive a product?
A manufacturer would unarchive a product in Erudus to make it available and visible again. The main reasons are:
- To bring back a seasonal product when its season returns.
- To re-launch a discontinued product due to demand or a change in strategy.
- To update product information with new data before making it visible again.
- To correct a mistake if it was archived by accident.
Quick Overview
When logged into your Manufacturer Dashboard, select Products.
Select the Archived tab to filter for your archived products.
Proceed to select the 3-dot drop-down, which is found alongside the product you wish to unarchive.
Select Un-archive.

Click the "Products" button on the Manufacturer Dashboard.

Click the "Archived" filter tab at the top of the product list to display only archived products.

Once you have found the product you want to archive, click the drop-down menu at the end of the row for that product.

Click "Un-archive" from the dropdown menu.

Confirm that you wish to republish the archived product.

Before republishing the product, you will be taken to the product editor, where you will need to review the product data and ensure it is correct before publishing the product again.
