Erudus Cancellation Process - Manufacturers

This guide aims to discuss the Erudus cancellation process and detail what is required when thinking of leaving Erudus.

Thinking of leaving Erudus?

We're sorry to hear you're thinking of leaving. Before you make a final decision, we want to ensure you're aware of a few important things to consider.

  • Your Data: Upon cancellation, you will lose access to all the product data you've uploaded. This includes crucial allergen, nutritional, and technical specifications that your customers rely on. This data is no longer visible in the Erudus datapool, which could disrupt your customers' systems and cause data gaps in the supply chain.

  • Customer Relationships: Your customers (wholesalers and retailers) use Erudus to access your product information, manage their inventory, and ensure they are compliant with regulations like Natasha's Law. Cancelling your subscription breaks this vital data link, which could lead to a loss of business and damage key trading relationships.

  • Compliance & Audit Trail: Without an Erudus subscription, you lose a critical, centralised, and legally compliant audit trail for your product information. Managing this manually with spreadsheets or PDFs is time-consuming and increases the risk of error and non-compliance.

  • Contractual Obligations: Your Erudus subscription is subject to the terms and conditions agreed upon at the time of sign-up. Erudus is an annual subscription, so we recommend checking your contract or most recent invoice for any remaining obligations.
