Reporting an Error on a Specification

When viewing a product specification, you can report an error if you suspect the data to be incorrect. This will open a dialogue between This guide will show you how to report an error with a product specification and communicate with the manufacturer.

If you suspect there is an error on a specification, click on the "Report Error" button at the top of the page for the specification

A form will appear for you to complete to submit the error report. You will need to enter the following details:

  1. Which attribute does the error relate to
  2. An explanation of what the suspected error is in the data

Once you have completed this form, click the green "Submit" button and the error report will be sent directly to the Manufacturer for review and resolution.


Once an error has been reported, a Manufacturer may send you a message to offer clarity on a reported error or they may need further information. These next steps will walk you through how to keep the conversation going after initially reporting an error

Responding to an Error You Have Raised | Step 1

If you receive a notification that the Manufacturer has responded to your error report, you can review the errors you have submitted by selecting the "Product Errors" option from your "My Erudus" dropdown menu at the top right corner of the screen.

When in your Product Error Report List, you can click on the green "View/Respond" button next to the error you wish to respond to and use the text box to write your response before clicking the green "Add Reply" button and your response will be sent directly to the Manufacturer.
