Adding a User to Your Wholesaler Account

This guide will show you how to add additional users to your wholesaler account and detail the different levels of user access available.

Please note: Only Admin users of a Wholesaler account can manage users on the account


Adding a User | Step 1

From the Wholesaler Dashboard, click on the "Users" Button at the top of the dashboard

From the user management page, click on the "Add User" button on the right side of the screen.

You will then be presented with a window in which to complete the information to register the user. You will need to enter the following information:

  • The user's email address
  • The Role/Level of access you wish the user to have

User Roles Explained:

Admin - Admin Users can manage users and product codes on the account


Internal - Internal users will be able to search for products using the search tools but will not have access to the wholesaler dashboard


Customer - Customer users can be added to the account to allow them access to the Erudus caterer tools if you have a subscription that grants customer access


Basic - Search only access to the account restricted to the Wholesaler's product catalogue

  • If the user is a customer user then you can also add their customer reference number

Once you have completed the information, click the green "OK" button in the right corner of the window to complete the setup.


Adding a User | Step 4

If the user's email address is already registered with Erudus, the user will automatically be added to your active users list and they will have relevant access to the account when they next log in with no further action required.


If the user's email address has not already been registered with Erudus then the user will enter a pending state on your user management page and will receive a welcome email with login instructions.

Pending users will remain pending until they log in for the first time. They have 14 days to log in before they are removed from the pending list for inactivity.

If a pending user does not receive their welcome email with login instructions they should email support@erudus.com to get access.
