Responding to Product Error Alerts

Wholesalers reviewing specifications in the data pool may notice errors on specifications. If they do, they can submit a Product Error Report that will notify the manufacturer with an alert.

This guide will show you how to respond to Product Error Alerts related to one of your specifications.


Responding to Product Error Alerts | Step 1

On your manufacturer dashboard, you will have visibility of any outstanding Product Error Alerts and you can review them by clicking on the "Product Errors" counter on the dashboard or by clicking the "Product Errors" button at the top of the page.


Responding to Product Error Alerts | Step 2

You will then be taken to the product error list where you can view the specification if necessary and when you are ready to respond click the "View/Respond" button at the end of the row for the alert.

You can then send a reply to the user who submitted the error using the text box and then click the "Add Reply" button beneath it which will send them a notification with your response.

When the reported issue has been resolved, you can use the yellow "Mark Resolved" button to remove the alert from your wholesaler dashboard and notify the user who submitted the error that the issue has been dealt with.
