Customising the Allergen Information of a Saved Recipe

There may be times when there is a risk of cross-contamination of an allergen for a recipe based on a risk assessment of the kitchen/preparation area. This guide will show you how to customise the allergen information for any of your saved recipes in the Erudus Recipe Builder.

Step 1

After logging in, click on the recipe builder button on the right side of the screen.

Step 2

Select the recipe that you want to customise the allergen information for from your saved recipes.

Step 3

Click on the "Allergens & Dietary Information" button in the recipe editor.

Step 4

From the "Allergens & Dietary Information" of the recipe, click on the "Customise Allergens" button to open the allergen editor for the recipe

Step 5

Use the checkboxes for the 14 major allergens to apply a "may contain" warning to the recipe.
The allergens for any recipe should only be overridden if there is a genuine risk of cross-contamination that has been identified after a risk assessment of the kitchen/preparation area for the recipe.
