Product Origin Guidance

As of 01/04/2020, new European Union legislation comes into effect that alters the way a product's origin is reported. The "Origin Information" fields in Erudus have been changed to reflect this and this article will explain the changes. To view the legislation documentation Click Here.

The "Origin Information" fields have now changed slightly to comply with the new legislation and are detailed below:

Product Country of Origin/Place of Provenance:

This dropdown menu is used to select the country in which the product is manufactured

Additional Origin Details:

This text box is used for the manufacturer to be able to enter additional information about the origin of their products or advise the country of origin/place of provenance of their primary ingredient if needed (in line with the new legislation).
