Manufacturer User Types
This guide shows you the different user types available for a supplier account and the access rights each has.
Searcher
This type of account is for an employee within the supplier's organisation and allows access to the search tools only. This level of access is ideal for employees that need access to specifications published to the Erudus account while ensuring they can not manipulate any of the published data.
Search can be accessed by clicking either the search button at the top of the screen or using the button on the right of the User Dashboard (highlighted).
***NOTE - These users can be added by a Super Admin user***
Product Manager
Product Managers have access to both the search tools and the Supplier Dashboard where specifications and accreditations can be managed on the account.
The supplier dashboard can be accessed by clicking on the Supplier button at the top of the screen or by using the button on the right of the User Dashboard (highlighted).
***NOTE - These users can be added by a Super Admin user***
Super Admin
A Super Admin role has all the same permissions as the Product Manager and, additionally, can also manage users and contact information on the account.
Below is the Supplier Dashboard for a Super Admin which has the "Users" and "Profile" buttons enabled (highlighted). When a Super Admin adds a new user or edits an existing user, they can set the users privileges so that they are either a Searcher or a Product Manager (as shown in the second image).
