Wholesaler User Types

This guide shows you the different user types available for a Member account and the privileges each has.

Internal User - Searcher

This type of account is for an employee within the wholesaler organisation and allows searching only. This could be used for an employee within sales or distribution who would require the ability to search the Erudus database for products but wouldn't need any other functionality.

Search can be accessed by clicking either the search function on the top bar or using the link on the main page.

***NOTE - These users can be added by an Admin user***

Internal User - Admin

This type of account is for an employee within the wholesaler organisation and allows searching as well as the administration rights to manage local product codes and add/ remove users. This could be used for example for a manager or supervisor who would need the ability to manage users attached to Erudus (Both internal and customer users) as well as being able to manage the local codes attached to each product.

Search can be accessed by clicking either the search function on the top bar or using the link on the main page.

The member dashboard can be accessed by clicking on the member tab on the top bar or using the link on the main page, this is where the user management and local codes are added or changed.

Customer User - Search/Other

This type of account is for a customer of the wholesaler. This could be a caterer or a restaurant and access have been given by the wholesaler as part of the package which they are subscribed to.

Features such as the allergen search, recipe builder or the meal planner can be accessed on the main page as shown below. These features can only be accessed if the wholesaler is subscribed to the correct package allowing their customers access to these features.

***NOTE - These users can be added by an Admin user, but only if the correct subscription is enabled***
